A Friend’s Bewildering Betrayal Released
“She’s GONE! Completely out of my life, exclaimed a client on the other end of the phone. I woke-up this morning and she was GONE!”
The previous day, my client and I had spent time connecting with a friend of hers who had, for no apparent reason, told her she didn’t want to be friends anymore. The pain and confusion she’d suffered with for many years, was now released. She felt relieved and joyful!
During our healing session, I’d asked her to visualize, in her mind’s eye, a support person/friend who would join her during this exercise. At the beginning of the session I asked my client to visualize a fictitious doorway. As she walked through the doorway, she was greeted by a deceased friend named John. My client was quite surprised to be greeted by John, yet it made sense to her because she, John, and the woman whom she needed to talk with, Susan, were very close friends, when John was alive.
As the visualization came to an end, I requested my client conclude the meeting, by stating to Susan, the way she wanted to see the future of this friendship. Did she want to have a relationship with her? Did she want to tell her goodbye and put closure on this friendship? Was there anything else my client wanted to say to Susan before she and John left? My purpose was for my client to put closure on this meeting in a way that would help her feel a sense of peace.
When the session was completed and upon review of the closure discussion, my client explained that Susan did not want to let her go. She wanted to follow my client through the doorway… she actually snuck past the door, as my client and John were sharing their goodbyes.
My client and I spent the better part of an hour discussing ways in which closure and resolution could be made with her former friend. Usually the closure was made during the session, when my client and person involved in the situation, parted ways. However, that didn’t happen during this session.
The following morning, I received a phone call from my client. In an excited and happy tone of voice, she explained that when she awoke, she had a strong sense that her friend was gone.
Update… August 25, 2021
Before publishing this I asked my client to read her story for accuracy. When I asked my client how Susan was doing, she looked at me with a perplexed look on her face. “Who? Do I know a Susan?” she asked. I giggled as I reminded her of this situation. Needless to say, Susan is no longer in her life or in her mind!
